Heimlich Heroes has served more than 90,000 kids across the United States since our start in 2013. Each and every one of our participants knows how to save a life!
Our mission is to eliminate preventable choking deaths by training as many people as possible. And, choking has a life-saving solution? the Heimlich Maneuver®!

There are many resources out there regarding the Heimlich Maneuver, but they are not developmentally appropriate for elementary students. When you give to Heimlich Heroes, your donation goes directly to our training materials. That means we can train more people, and each one learns how to save a life! When a choking emergency occurs, you must act quickly. Our program teaches people how to identify a choking situation and respond with confidence.

Anyone can learn the Heimlich Maneuver with just a little training. Your donations allow us to continue providing our training materials with little to no cost to the user. The lessons last a lifetime, and lives are being saved!
Because Mariana and Mariyah attended a Heimlich Heroes training, they, respectively, saved the life of a sister and friend. Without our materials, 12 year old Mariana and 9 year old Mariyah would not have known how to perform the maneuver and rise to the occasion like they did. These girls are true Heimlich Heroes! Our program trainers have shared with us the impact Heimlich Heroes made on their participants. We know anyone can save a life, no matter his or her age. Participants, young and old, are gaining the confidence to perform the maneuver properly.

Did you know, that just $14 per month helps us provide training materials for 30 kids each month? $30 helps provide materials for 100 people. And as little as $120 will provide the training materials for a group of 500! Any amount really does makes a difference! This year alone we have provided materials for more than 37,000 people free of cost.
